Me and Heather had a craft night. It was so much fun.She helped me come up with ideas to make a canvas for David. Here's the beginning of it.Try not to laugh:

You can hardly see it,but its mountains I drew and a lake.

My main focal point. The moose. We shall see how it turns out.Hopefully okay.

After working on that I decided to make another canvas. It looks a little crooked.Haha! So I just might redo the whole thing.I want to add more color to it or something. But here it is:

So Heather,David's sister is amazing!!!She goes to SCAD in the Atl. I love to see her work all the time. She's great at just about anything. One of my favorites pieces she did was a elephant. She used watercolor and just looked at a figurine she had of an elephant. Here's the piece:

Her story behind this was about an elephant who faces the hands of time.In the end the elephant defeats the time and crushes it.She was going to do a third canvas with the elephant crushing the clock hands with its foot.Pretty neat.

Yesterday at Praise we had the k3-k5 dress up in their halloween costumes. They were all so cute! Two of the best dressed was...

Ninja Turtles..heck yes!

Tell me where is it that you can just find a good place to sit and just tell God how great He is?
If anyone is reading this right now I where do you go just to sit, talk and listen to our Father?I heard a very wise man say that he was in his car just telling God how great He was for making the sky and everything thats in it.The LORD showed him how vast He is and how small we are to Him.I want to know that GREATNESS.I feel as though I don't truly know God's greatness yet like I want to.I miss God so much!I just want to see Him right now.I want to see the three in one,the Father,The Spirit and The Son.It makes me miss those dreams where I saw the LORD face to face.

Yesterday I was in worship with other followers of Christ. We started singing this song "Make Way For The King..." and every time sing that I could always picture Christ walking down the isles and making His way to the throne. It was so insanely awesome.Every time I sing that I always want Him to come and invade me as well as everyone there.I wish you could see what I mean.I wish I had the lyrics to show you really what I picture.I'm ready to see His face, coming on a white horse through those clouds to carry me home.Aren't you ready?Don't you just want to look into the eyes who created you and formed you in His image from out of the dust?I sure do.I want to look into those fiery eyes and have Him embrace me again. To just come and fill the depths of my soul again.

"The King is enthralled by your beauty;honor him,for he is your lord."

Come be enthralled with your people.

Week full of wild animals

Tuesday I took my K4 class to Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain,Georgia. We had so much fun.K3 and K5 tagged along also.I got to feed and pet a giraffe. The kids were so funny when the giraffes heads came in through the bus. Some screamed, one cried and the rest didn't know what to do.We saw a Liger too.Yes,Napoleon Dynamite was actually right! The only down fall is they didn't even have elephants.Kind of bummed out about it,but its all gravy. If you've never been, you should definitely go sometime.I laughed so hard I cried. Here's a few pictures from the trip:

It was like going to the zoo except I was with the wild animals the whole time.haha!

Wednesday was my friend Brittany's birthday. We gave her surprise party at this Mexican restaurant.I made her a canvas with her favorite Bob Marley song on it.To bad it wasn't a stencil of Bob Marley. It didn't turn out how I hoped it would, but she liked it.Thats all that matters.

On another note School at Chattahoochee Tech has been going pretty well.I've met a few new friends, have high grades on my home work and my teacher is pretty cool.I know we've only been in school for a few weeks, but still.I'm looking at school with an optimistic point of view.I want to live by a scripture my dad gave to me pertaining to school.
Its found in Proverbs 19:8 which says:
"He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;he who cherishes understanding prospers."

My dad told me he thought of me as he read that.I've been really seeking and asking God for wisdom, knowledge and understanding when it comes to my studies and knowing more of His Word.My dad also told me that wisdom is referred to God's Word.I never knew that, but I thought that was pretty neat.

Well I've had my nephews for the weekend while my sister and "bro" have gone to Paris.I have to admit I'm rather jealous that they get to travel to a lot of places. They've been to Germany,Costa Rica,Toronto,Dominican Republic and who knows where else. They plan on going to Australia when my nephews get older. My sister is also planning on visiting Spain.I'm glad she can go to all these places though.Theres something about our whole family that we love to travel anywhere and everywhere.Who knows maybe one day I'll go to Africa,Ireland and Italy. We shall see.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you;I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."

Fall...

So this past week I've been waking up to the coldness in my house. My skin is not use to it yet.And I'd rather prefer the warm heat of summer than colder temperatures. Its kind of strange though I'm feeling a little bit in the fall-ish mood. And I never feel that way.I bought a granny looking sweater last night along with some fall colored shirts at Walmart.Whats wrong with me.Am I starting to like this weather.Next thing you know I'm going to be sitting in a rocking chair outside knitting some Christmas sweater.Hahaha!I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving though.Thats one of my favorite holidays ever.Just a time to relax, make dressing and all the trimmings, decorate the house, spend time with the people I know and love and watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade. It shall be fun.Oh and another thing I like about fall is the leaves when they change colors.

Last Wednesday was my first day of college at Chattahoochee Tech.I think I'm going to like my class. My teacher,Christian DePaul seems like a great math teacher.Kind of hard to understand him,but its cool.A lot of the people in my class seem older than me and I like that.I'm ready to learn again.I kind of miss it.Even if its just a math class I'm taking.I'm horrible at math, but I think I will do well this quarter with God's help.

Tomorrow is the annual Mitchell family Reunion in South Carolina.I'm excited to see my great aunts and spend some time with them.Maybe I can get a few good stories out of them.I think its cool how one great aunt is a minister, another used to work at a flower nursery and the others sing and who knows what else.I love my family.I found out that our Mitchell family crest motto is: "Favente Deo supero" translated means "By God's favor I conquer"
Pretty sweet.

Christmas in Lithia is coming up soon.Me and my friend Candace are thinking about getting some of our artwork and photography and selling it there.Christmas in Lithia is where a bunch of people from everywhere sell their own arts and crafts that they made. Its pretty cool.A lot of people usually shop for their Christmas presents there. Some many neat ideas. It would be cool to have our own art booth this year.If we get a ton of art pieces and photography together. We shall see.
